Holiday gifts for wedding planners

Are you a wedding planner who's getting ready for the holiday season? Or are you looking to kick off the new year by showing your appreciation for your team?

Giving something to anyone is never required or 100% necessary. But as a wedding planner, finding thoughtful gifts for couples, vendors and your team is a wonderful way to show people appreciation and really stand out in the industry.

I’m a big fan of gift giving because that is my love language. But if giving actual gifts isn't your love language, you can find a way to show appreciation in a way that feels right to you. 

Here are a few gift ideas based on different love languages:

• GIFT GIVING: Sending branded swag (especially for team members!) or baked goods is one of my favorites ways to show thanks during the holidays. 
• ACTS OF SERVICE: Gifting a massage gift card or booking a house cleaning service is a great way to give people a chance to rest and relax. 
• WORDS OF AFFIRMATION: Sending a card or even a nice email is a small gesture that goes a long way in showing appreciation.
• QUALITY TIME: Taking someone out to dinner or for coffee is so valuable for people who appreciate the gift of time spent building meaningful connections.  

No matter what way you choose to be thoughtful this year, in whatever way you show your love, make sure that it fills you just as much as it fills the receiver. Don't ever do something just to do it. Because it will show through. We do everything with inspiration.
